This was a unique residential project on the brown field site of a former petrol filling station on Brighton Road, Surbiton.
The final scheme will include 46 residential units split into 1,2,3 bed apartments and 3 commercial units.
Split into three blocks, the development benefits from a large extensive basement with parking and car lifts. With the main structure being reinforced concrete with a zinc clad and facing brickwork façade.
Oander has been involved with this development since the site was purchased by this residential specialist developer.
During the course of the planning application, Oander assisted the planning and development team in drafting and concluding the build cost negotiations in relation to the social housing viability study.
Once planning was secured, Oander was retained to provide assistance in negotiating the final construction contract sum with their preferred contractor, including identifying and driving value engineering.
