The Weybridge Community Hospital fire in July 2017 caused significant damage to the hospital buildings. Oander has now been appointed the Project Managers and Principle Designer to assist NHS Property Services, the landlord and asset manager of Weybridge Community Hospital.
As a result of the devastating fire, the building has been damaged beyond economical repair. Therefore, as part of Oander’s remit includes procurement and management for the safe demolition of the remaining structure and to clear the arisings in preparation for the contingency plan to be implemented.
Offering the complete multi disciplinary service, Oander are providing comprehensive pre-construction health and safety management including discharging the responsibilities of the Principle Designer on behalf of the employer.
In light of the damage caused by the Weybridge community hospital fire Oander has been faces a very challenging task. First the site must be cleared before delivering a temporary modular building. This new structure will have to house new treatment rooms as well as consultation suits. All this must be completed in just five months.
