Oander are delighted to have been appointed by IHSS Sterilisation and Decontamination Services to provide Project Management, Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying for their new state of the art facility at the Southampton Health Campus, Adanac Park.
IHSS is a leading provider to both the NHS and the private medical sector, and offer comprehensive sterilisation services, enabling for the safe re-use of surgical instruments and medical devices.
This project represents a significant investment by IHSS into the region and provides a great platform for them to expend their offering to other trusts and private hospitals operating within the area.
With the fit out, specialist mechanical and electrical installation contracts having been awarded to Bauvill, a specialist healthcare construction firm, the overall works value approx. £7.1m.
IHSS are part of the wider Fresenius Health Services (FHS), which forms part of the Fresenius Group, which ensures and empowers them to provide exceptional healthcare services. Commenting on the appointment, Oander’s Managing Director, Ben Davies said:
With the building shell having been constructed by Willmott Dixon, the fit out of the new facilitate is due to start at the beginning of April 2025 and run until the end of 2025.
Adanac Park is a wider redevelopment providing a range of facilitates within a convenient location next to Junction 1 of the M271, providing a health and innovation campus along with other key infrastructure and facilities.
