Oander’s commitment to works with NHS Property Services continues as Sevenoaks Hospital car park reconfiguration work develops successfully. The full scope of the works now includes full asphalt pavement reconstruction in excess of 1400m2 split across two car parks plus a third car park with an additional 600m2 of new asphalt overlay to improve the condition and safety of the existing car parks.
The condition of the car parks and walk ways around Sevenoaks Hopsital has been deterioating for some time with pot holes and uneven surfaces developing. The project will involve a complete overhaul of these areas.
As part of our scope, Oander has reconfigured the car park layout design to bring a previously outdated layout inline with current best practice. The project is being delivered for the asset owner, NHS Property Services in conjunction with Kent Community Health as the lead services provider at the hospital site.
The complete hospital car park reconfiguration project will deliver a number of additional improvements including improved external lighting, crossing points and general pedestrian signage.
The project is due to be completed at the end of January 2018.
