Oander Commits to Carbon Reduction and a Net Zero Future

You are here: Home / Oander News / Oander Commits to Carbon Reduction and a Net Zero Future

2 April, 2026 by Barry Mason

Oander is proud to announce its commitment to reducing carbon emissions and supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon economy through a long-term journey towards achieving Net Zero.

As a responsible contractor delivering Quantity Surveying and Project Management Consultancy services across the UK, Oander recognises the important role businesses play in tackling climate change. The company is committed to continually improving its environmental performance while delivering high-quality services for clients and communities.

Our commitment to carbon reduction forms part of a wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, embedding sustainability into everyday operations and future business decisions.

Taking Meaningful Action

Oander is implementing practical measures to reduce its environmental impact across all areas of the business. These include:

  • Improving fuel efficiency across our vehicle fleet and evaluating lower-emission alternatives.
  • Reducing waste through improved planning, reuse and recycling initiatives.
  • Increasing energy efficiency within offices, depots and operational facilities.
  • Working with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to sustainable practices.
  • Promoting digital working methods to reduce paper consumption and unnecessary travel.
  • Encouraging employees to identify and adopt environmentally responsible ways of working.

These initiatives will be supported by ongoing monitoring of our carbon emissions, allowing us to measure progress and identify further opportunities for improvement.

Working Towards Net Zero

Achieving Net Zero requires long-term commitment, innovation and collaboration. Oander is developing a structured approach to understanding its carbon footprint and implementing measures that will deliver measurable reductions over time.

As technologies evolve and new opportunities become available, we will continue investing in solutions that help minimise emissions while maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect.

Supporting Our Clients’ Sustainability Goals

Many of the organisations we work with have ambitious sustainability objectives of their own. By reducing our environmental impact and embedding sustainable practices throughout our operations, we aim to help clients meet their own environmental commitments while delivering projects efficiently, safely and responsibly.

Looking Ahead

Environmental responsibility is not a one-off initiative but an ongoing commitment. Oander will continue to review its performance, embrace innovation and work collaboratively with clients, suppliers and employees to build a more sustainable future.

Through continuous improvement and responsible business practices, we are committed to making a positive contribution to the environment while delivering lasting value for our customers and the communities we serve.
